I'm Travis Ivey. I spent 20 years in EMS leadership and wrote the things nobody wanted to say out loud. After the Sirens is that book. DRIFT is the system I built because I watched good people disappear slowly and nobody caught it in time. This is what I built from what broke me.

Who We Are

Between the Tones was born from 20 years inside emergency services β€” the calls, the weight, and everything that happens after the sirens stop. Founded by Travis Ivey, a paramedic, author, and craftsman from Belmont, NC, this brand exists for the moments most people never talk about.

The woodworking arm β€” 37 Woodworks β€” grew from the same place. The name comes from 10-37, the code that asks "Are you okay?" It's a question most of us in emergency services answer with "yes" even when we're not. Through craft, storytelling, and real leadership training, we remind people it's okay not to be okay.

Our Mission

We exist for the first responder who has never said out loud what the job actually costs.

Every piece we build, every word we write, and every system we develop starts from the same place β€” the belief that the people who protect everyone else deserve more than a wellness poster and a hotline number.

Through honest storytelling, real leadership training, and handcrafted woodworking, Between the Tones creates things that start conversations, build connection, and remind people they are not alone.

You are the most important patient you will ever treat.

What We Create

Custom cutting boards and charcuterie boards. Challenge coin displays and flag cases. Agency plaques and retirement gifts. Memorial pieces. Cornhole boards. Epoxy inlay tables and custom signs. If it means something to you β€” we can build it. Every piece is handcrafted by Travis Ivey in Belmont, NC.

Why Choose 37 Woodworks?

Attention to Detail β€” Every piece is cut, sanded, and finished by hand. No shortcuts.

Built for Your World β€” Agency logos, badge numbers, unit names, service years. We speak your language because we lived it.

Purpose Behind Every Cut β€” 37 Woodworks was built by a paramedic who needed somewhere to put his hands. Every piece carries that story.

Let’s Create Something Meaningful Together

We're not building furniture. We're building the piece that sits on a chief's desk for 20 years. The retirement gift that makes a career feel honored. The memorial that says someone's service mattered.
